PAMA FESTIVAL is a distinct creative arts event to celebrate Poetry, Animation, Music & fine Arts in Ghana. The 2019 edition will be held for 2 days, providing a platform for the creative industry players to exhibit their works, expand their scope and expose them to opportunities to develop their potentials, while exciting and entertaining over 3,000 creative art lovers.

Activities Include Exhibition, Workshops, Animation showing, Poetry & Spoken Word, Gaming, Open Mic Acoustic Sessions and climax with a Live Music Concert with Ghanaian US-Based Saxophonist Steve Bedi. The festival will also feature other Poets and Musicians in Ghana.

2019 Headline Artiste

Steve Bedi is a renowned, award-winning Ghanaian US-based Jazz Saxophonist

Who has been in the entertainment industry for the past 18 years and acknowledged as a “world-class jazz musician”. On the local front, he has performed with legends like Kojo Antwi, Rex Omar, Amandzeba, Gyadu Blay Ambolley, Bessa Simon, Suzzy & Matt, Francis Adgei, Kwabena Kwabena, Stephanie Benson and many others. Steve Bedi has performed at international music festivals and high profiled private events in New York, Geneva, France (Les Escales Festival), South Africa (Joy of Jazz Festival), Sierra Leone (Ballanta Music Festival), Malawi (Sunbird and Lake of Stars festivals), Copenhagen jazz festival and Ghana (Stanbic Jazz Festivals).

Steve also plays a role as UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador for the Global HIV prevention campaign. In October 2018, Steve was the first African Artiste to headline the 73rd United Nations Day celebration held in Beijing, China.
